Position: Person In Charge (PIC)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: €55,793 – €65,155 (HSE Social Care Leader Scale)

Location: Kilkenny

About Us
Aurora provides community-based residential and day services for adults with intellectual disabilities, supported by a team of 300+ healthcare professionals. We support over 80 adults with intellectual disabilities in our dedicated and compassionate environment.

Role Overview
We are seeking a key driver and champion to support people in living fulfilling, self-determined lives. The PIC will lead daily operations in collaboration with their line manager, acting as a central communicator for families, multidisciplinary teams, senior management, and the community. Flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to our vision are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care, Applied Social Care, or Nursing (Intellectual Disability, Psychiatric, General, or Children’s).
Relevant Management qualification (required).
CORU registration (where applicable).

Requirements

3+ years in a managerial healthcare role.
Full, clean driving license and own transport (manual).
Proven leadership ability and experience in resource planning.
Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
Knowledge of HIQA standards and certification.
