Aurora provides residential and day services for adults with Intellectual Disabilities and has recently completed a full transition from a congregated setting to community-based supports. Aurora has a highly trained and dedicated staff of more than 300 health-care professionals catering to the needs of  72 adults with Intellectual Disabilities.

 

Aurora is the national leader in the de-congregation process with full-service reconfiguration to a Supported Self-Directed Living model. Aurora’s vision is to develop this service further and to be the national centre of excellence and the ‘Employer of choice’ within the sector.   

 

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role is full-time on-site in Kilkenny. As a key member of the finance team, you will help to drive and develop financial systems and management reporting, liaising closely with colleagues and other stakeholders including the HSE.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Financial Accountant who has clear vision of purpose; and as such will actively contribute to ensure the delivery of high-quality, insightful, and timely information is a central success factor in this role. Technical proficiency, strong people skills, administration of  pensions and robust IT, data, and systems experience are required skills. Integrity, energy, and a commitment to deliver are essential personal attributes.
